Lately I’ve been seeing many in the Valley of Decision. Me included!
Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
Sitting in the garden window of our cottage I began to sense the need for a shift in the atmosphere.
I looked out the window to see the leaves falling to the ground much earlier than usual…
Sighing with dread of the coming change I noticed my own spirit had become weary.
What can I do? I asked the Lord.
Why am I feeling this way?
The voice of the Lord was clearly talking to me
Scriptures flooded my mind.
Valley of decision was so real… And the Lord asked me what are you deciding to do about your future? What are you leaving behind if you move forward and where is the legacy needed to continue what I have begun… even through you?
This set my mind racing Wondering where I was personally in running my own course.
I felt challenged. I felt skeptical. I felt vulnerable.
I asked myself am I really ready to talk to God about this?
My answer was not a quick yes.
Then.. this scripture came to me Isa 42:1
Here is My Servant, whom I uphold, My Chosen One, in whom My soul delights. I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will bring justice to the nations.
John 12 :28 Father, glorify Your name!" Then a voice came from heaven: "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again." Flooded my heart!
God here am I … Talk to me!
He showed me many things He showed me the desert he showed me mountains he showed me river lakes and gigantic trees he showed me poverty he showed me riches and then he said...
All my father has given me I give to you Do you see it?
What are you doing with it?
Are you sharing? Are you delivering?
Are you positioning yourself?
Are you Ready to be A Legacy Maker?
Then he clearly showed me this!
John 17:24 "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
Totally now engulfed in the Presence I was being made aware that he was beckoning me to BECOME … More like him…
Painfully I became aware I had begun to get out of the race. I had begun to compromise. I had begun to fall into the pit of the valley of decision and Now I needed a way out!
Again I cried as I usually do Here Am I Lord Send Me!!
The atmosphere became very silent. I felt very small for the space around me engulfing me in the Presence of Goodness and Love.
Here I was being overshadowed by the Almighty and I couldn’t respond.
Instantly I arose the cry of O God wake me up Wake up the church wake us up Make way for The King came out of my mouth Make way for the King!
I had in my spirit begun to develop a cry of desperation to become the vessel of Hope, Change, Evangelism and Purpose.
To make myself available to the Presence.
I thought of my congregation What can I leave them Who can go for me?
I thought of my family what did I teach them who will carry on.
I thought of the many different things and I wondered what will happen to that?
Legacy, legacy, legacy. Screamed at me
What are you leaving behind when you depart the earth?
Who will pick up where you left off?
Remembering the storehouses of heaven…. everywhere you set your foot he gave me.
Had I forgotten? My answer was yes.
Joshua 1:3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.
Legacy was now screaming past me it had become a weapon an arrow which struck the enemy that was defeating my own purpose.
Then I realized I was not alone. Many are in the valley of decision overcome by the stresses and strains of our lives Illness Crisis and Abandon-ness yes Several feel abandoned.
Because the enemy of God has come to wear out the saints ( Dan 7:25)
It was in this moment of revelation I gained strength. You can too.
Proverbs 12: 25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.
James 4: 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Luke 4: 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
I jumped up a new person Renewed in My Faith and Refreshed by the Word and my Spirit is alive with the Passion to become a legacy maker!

Dear Lord you have captivated my heart with your Word your Presence your Commissioning.
I am your child and I beseech you to pardon me and revive me!
Teach me to be a legacy maker. Show me who is to follow Who can take my baton Who can fulfill… Yes, God I may need a Solomon. If so still send me until my days are done.
Loving all depositing you everywhere I go Just being your life extended O God Show me …
